Kelley Mack, best known for her role as Addy in Season 9 of The Walking Dead, has sadly passed away at the age of 33. The actress died on August 2, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called diffuse midline glioma. Her family shared the heartbreaking news and described her final moments as peaceful, with her mother and aunt present by her side. Fans and loved ones have been paying tribute to her remarkable strength and talent.

Mack’s illness began in late 2024, when she started experiencing severe lower back pain. Initially misdiagnosed as a slipped disc, the pain worsened over time, eventually leading to partial paralysis. Further scans revealed a tumor in her spinal cord, and she was diagnosed in January 2025. Despite undergoing surgery and sharing her recovery journey publicly, her condition deteriorated. Mack remained open about her experience, inspiring many with her vulnerability and determination.

Beyond The Walking Dead, Kelley Mack had a growing career in television and film. She appeared in shows like Chicago Med and 9‑1‑1, and took on roles in independent films such as Broadcast Signal Intrusion and Delicate Arch. She was also working behind the scenes as a producer and voiceover artist. A memorial service is scheduled for August 16 in Ohio, where friends, family, and fans will celebrate the life of an actress whose talent and spirit left a lasting impression on the entertainment world.
