Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has officially signed a two-year contract with Spanish side Villarreal CF, marking his return to La Liga after four years at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old, who previously played for Atlético Madrid, is set to bring experience and strength to Villarreal’s midfield.

Partey’s move comes after an injury-ridden final season in the Premier League, and the transfer is seen as a fresh start in familiar territory.
